Statement of Fees and Services for
Weddings, Bridal Events, and Bridal Portraits

Rates.  Rates are $90 - $110 per person depending on number of guests.  Rates include use of the Estate for 8 hours, tables, chairs, tents, catering, linens, service, and gratuity.  See Package Pricing tab for complete details. 

Price discounts are available for multi-day events.  The Estate and Manor House is also available for bridal, family, or reunion portraits.  Please note introductory rates are subject to change and will be determined at time of booking.   .

Formal Gardens.  Eden Try Estate and Manor House is a formal outdoor wedding venue.  For 2010, all events will be held outdoors or under tents, at your preference.  A pavilion may be available for events after 2010. 

The Estate.  What's Included:

• Exclusive use of 12 acres of Eden Try Estate Grounds for eight full hours on the day of the event
  • Over 7 acres of manicured lawns and gardens
  • Choice of the following for your ceremony, reception, or special event:
    • Architecturally stunning Manor House front entrance with 700’ winding drive befitting a horse and carriage arrival
    • Formal bluestone terrace overlooking rear tiered rose gardens
    • Front and rear manicured lawns with artistically placed and mature landscaping provides endless possibilities for creating a unique event
    • Separate natural amphitheatre behind Manor House and gardens
  • Footbridge and walking paths in a park-like setting available for that special photograph
• Use of the Manor House’ formal bridal portrait studio (pictured above), center hall, and restroom one hour prior to the event.  Studio is for use solely by the bride and those directly assisting her in her photo session.
• Eight hour time frame (including 2 hour set up, event time, and 1 hour clean up)
• Virtually unlimited capacity for outdoor seating and events
• Two hours of event-related consulting services
• Free honeymoon bridal registry and personal website which allows guests to “pledge” individual donations toward your choice of honeymoons in lieu of bringing gifts.  See our Honeymoon Registry page for more information.

• Convenient access to the I-95 corridor, hotels, dining, and shopping.  Eden Try is ideally located mid-way between Washington, DC, and Richmond, Virginia, and provides easy access to the surrounding counties and Fredericksburg's Historic district. 

Vendors.  Eden Try has assembled a list of recommended vendors to assist you.  You are not required to use those on the list.   However, other vendors must be approved in advance and names provided in sufficient time prior to final payment.  A complete list of your choice of vendors is required at time of final payment. 

Payment Schedule and Miscellaneous Information.  To reserve a specific date, a $1,500 nonrefundable reservation fee is required.  Final payment and refundable security deposit is due 90 days prior to the date of the event.  A  Special Event Permit is required by the County and will be processed on your behalf (included in above rates). 

Parking.  Parking may be limited for larger events (over 150).  As a courtesy to your guests, invitations should instruct guests where you would like them to assemble for private shuttle service to the Manor House.  The Fredericksburg area includes a variety of shuttle options, including the Fredericksburg Trolley which runs direct service to Eden Try.

Eden Try Estate and Manor House is a private residence.
